The pigments we used in our procedures are hypoallergenic therefore having reactions to these products are extremely rare. However, aftercare instructions should be strictly followed to prevent any bacterial infection.

It will last up to 2-3 years. It will gradually fade over time and we recommend that our clients come in for an annual touch up to maintain a good colour and shape. However, the frequency of touch-ups depends on a number of factors including:a) Skin type, b) Lifestyle(sun exposure, gym, swimming), c) Iron deficiency, d) If any chemical peels come into contact with the treated area.

Highly effective numbing gel is used for numbing the area to be treated. This helps to ease any minor discomfort you may experience during the procedure. Comfort levels vary according to theindividual’s pain tolerance and response to anaesthetics. Some clients describe the feeling as scratchy or a slight burning sensation. It is our priority to make every effort to ensure you remain comfortable for the entire procedure.

It is important that you refrain from using any skin/blood thinners on the brow or eye area two weeks prior to your appointment.- Excess bleeding could be caused by consuming alcohol, fish oil or caffeine before the procedure. Cosmetic tattoo is a two-step process, therefore two appointments are necessary to embed the correct amount of pigment for long-lasting brows.

The first appointment the shape and colour of your brows are selected followed by the inserting of the pigment into the skin.

The second appointment is to further emphasize the pigment colour and to fill any areas where colour did not take as well, adjust the colour (if necessary) or fix the symmetry that you may be concerned about.

If the client does not have their follow up procedure within 8 weeks after their initial procedure, then it is required to pay an additional cost. This is because the procedure will take us longer to do as the pigment has already started to fade before it is completed.

We will suggest the colour of the pigment which is most flattering for your complexion and existing hair colour. This is so the pigment will blend with your own brow hair to give a naturally beautiful look without being too flashy. However, you are also able to alter the suggested colour to a lighter to darker shade.

Many cosmetic tattoo pigments created in the past (10+ years) contain heavy metals such as titanium dioxide or iron oxide in the formula which causes the colour of the pigment to eventually change into unpleasant shade such as pink-red or green-blue over time. Other reasons for brows to change colour is due to doing the procedure with inexperienced brow technicians going too deep.

Zara Permanent Beauty only uses the highest quality pigments that do not contain iron oxides or heavy metals such as titanium dioxide. With our experience and knowledge, we can ensure you that your brows will change not change into an unpleasant shade. 

Please avoid plucking, shaping or waxing your eyebrows as we will be shaping them during the procedure. Avoid waxing as it will take a fine layer of the skin and cause the skin to become sensitivity which will only increase the chance of infection during healing process.

Our brow technician will design your brows according to your face morphology. The process of brow mapping will take approximately 20 minutes. We will take a photo of your brows using our trusted symmetry app in order to pre draw the perfect shape for your brows in the most accurate way. We will not start your procedure until you are completely happy with the pre-drawing.

Please notify us if you have any previous cosmetic tattoo visible in the eyebrow area because it is really common to see asymmetrical and patch work results from previous brow technician and covering them may not always give the best outcome. There is no downtime with the treatment. For the first few days your brows will look slightly darker than normal then it may appear a little patchy for the following days. This is due to the ink starting to shed. It is safe to use a little make up or brow pencil to fill while they heal.

There are several stages which include; numbing, outlining the lips, and the actual process of tattooing. This usually takes roughly 2-3 hours.

A wide range of tones in the pink, coral, and red families are available to create a customized shade. This will be determined in the beginning of your session.

The healing process for Lip Blush takes approximately 3-4 days. In that time you may experience some swelling, redness, bruising, dryness and texture until the lips naturally exfoliate themselves. Aquaphor or a provided barrier cream is to be applied during the healing process.
